AOD9604 · How it works
The fat-burning end of growth hormone
Growth hormone is a 191 amino acid protein, and the part that tells fat cells to release fat sits at its far end, amino acids 177 to 191. AOD9604 is that end piece, with a tyrosine added at the front to make it stable. In fat tissue it switches on lipolysis, the breakdown of stored triglyceride into free fatty acids, and it switches off lipogenesis, the building of new fat. The fat it frees is burned as fuel, so fat cells shrink.
