Korean work at Daegu Catholic University injected AOD9604 into damaged rabbit knees. Cartilage regenerated better than with no treatment, and best when AOD9604 was given together with hyaluronic acid, and the limping period was shorter. This points to a role for the growth hormone end piece in joint tissue repair, separate from its fat effect.
