AOD9604
What it is
AOD9604 stands for Advanced Obesity Drug 9604. It is the fat-releasing fragment of growth hormone, amino acids 177 to 191, with an extra tyrosine at the front for stability, 16 amino acids in all. It holds a small internal ring formed by two cysteines. It acts on fat tissue to release and burn stored fat and to stop new fat being made, but it leaves out the growth, IGF-1 and blood sugar effects of the whole hormone.
