Ara-290, Cibinetide · How it works
Switching off inflammation
Ara-290 lowers the inflammatory signals TNF alpha and IL-6 and stops cells from dying by apoptosis at the injury. It shifts macrophages from attack to repair. This quiets the low-grade inflammation that keeps nerves and pancreatic cells failing. It works in minutes to hours, though it leaves the blood in minutes.
