Ara-290, Cibinetide · How it works
Vessels and islet cells
Ara-290 helps endothelial colony-forming cells repair damaged small vessels, as in the retina. It protects insulin-making islet cells from inflammatory attack. In people with type 2 diabetes it improved blood sugar control along with nerve symptoms. Better microvessels feed nerves, which is part of how it repairs them.
