Vitamin B12 · What it helps
Homocysteine and the vessels
When the methionine handover stalls, homocysteine rises in the blood, and high homocysteine is hard on the lining of arteries. Refilling B12, usually alongside folate and B6, brings that number down. This is a measurable marker you can follow rather than a feeling, which makes it useful for tracking whether the dose is landing.
