BPC-157 · How it works
The nitric oxide balance
Nitric oxide is the gas signal that opens and relaxes blood vessels and protects the lining of the gut. BPC-157 works on this system in both directions. When nitric oxide is blocked, it restores the signal; when the signal runs too high, it calms it. This is why the Zagreb group calls it a balancer of the NO system rather than a simple vessel opener.
