BPC-157 · How it works
Sealing the gut lining
BPC-157 was first found as part of a protective protein in gastric juice, and it is stable in stomach acid. It keeps the cells of the gut lining alive under stress from alcohol, aspirin-type drugs and acid. It helps ulcers, fistulas and joins in the bowel close by rebuilding both the lining and the vessels under it. It also acts along the brain and gut axis, the nerve line that links the two.
