Cagrilintide and Semaglutide Blend · How it works
Amylin: the fullness gate
The cagrilintide half acts on amylin and calcitonin receptors in the brainstem area postrema, the gate where meal signals enter the brain. It tells the body a meal is finished, slows stomach emptying and holds back glucagon. It also restores the hypothalamus's response to leptin, the fat-store signal. This is a separate door from GLP-1.
