Because amylin and GLP-1 reach the brain by different receptors and different neurons, their effects add instead of overlapping. Hunger drops through GLP-1 and fullness arrives sooner through amylin. Each half can be carried at a lower strength than either alone would need. The result is deeper fat loss with the sickness of each signal kept moderate.
