Cagrilintide · What it helps
After-meal blood sugar
By slowing the stomach and holding back glucagon after meals, cagrilintide flattens the glucose spike. People with type 2 diabetes make too little amylin, so this restores a missing signal rather than forcing a new one. The insulin the pancreas makes goes further.
