Cartalax
What it is
Cartalax is a cartilage bioregulator: three amino acids, Ala-Glu-Asp. Cartilage is the smooth cushion on the ends of bones, made by chondrocytes that build type II collagen and aggrecan. With age those cells slow down and start releasing inflammatory signals that eat their own cartilage. Cartalax passes into the cells and turns the building genes back on while it switches the inflammatory pattern off. It also acts on skin fibroblasts, the cells that make skin collagen.
