The story

Cerebrolysin was first made in Austria in the middle of the last century and is produced today by EVER Neuro Pharma. Doctors across Austria, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, China and Korea have used it for stroke, brain injury and dementia for over 60 years. Russian neurologists added diabetic nerve damage to its uses. Chinese and Korean groups mapped its effect on the Sonic hedgehog repair pathway after stroke. It sits on national stroke lists in many of these countries.
