CJC-1295, with DAC
The story
ConjuChem in Montreal built its whole company on the DAC idea: hook a short-lived peptide to albumin so it lasts days. Jetté and colleagues showed in 2005 that GRF bound to albumin kept working on the rat pituitary for days. In 2006 Teichman's group gave single and weekly doses to healthy adults: growth hormone rose 2 to 10 times for six days or more and IGF-1 rose 1.5 to 3 times for 9 to 11 days. Ionescu and Frohman in Chicago then showed the natural pulses kept going on top of the raised floor.
