GHK-Cu, Copper Tripeptide-1 · How it works
Carrying copper into cells
GHK grips a copper ion so tightly that it can lift copper off albumin, the main copper carrier in blood. It then hands that copper to cells in a safe, non-toxic form. Copper is the working metal in lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin, and in superoxide dismutase, a key antioxidant enzyme. So GHK-Cu feeds the enzymes that build and protect tissue.
