GHK-Cu, Copper Tripeptide-1
What it is
GHK-Cu is the copper complex of Gly-His-Lys, a tripeptide found naturally in human blood. The histidine and the start of the chain grip one copper ion in a tight, stable cradle. The body releases GHK from collagen when tissue is damaged, as a built-in repair signal. Its blood level drops with age, which matches the slower healing and thinner skin of later life.
