GHRP-2 activates the same arcuate NPY and AgRP neurons that ghrelin uses to start hunger. In healthy men, a GHRP-2 infusion raised the amount eaten at a meal by more than a third. The hunger is moderate, less than GHRP-6. It is useful for people who need to eat more to build.
