GHRP-2 Acetate
The story
GHRP-2 came out of Cyril Bowers's lab at Tulane University in New Orleans, the same lab that made GHRP-6, in the early 1990s. In Japan it was developed as pralmorelin, and Kazuo Chihara's group in Kobe made it the basis of a simple pituitary test: a single GHRP-2 dose and a growth hormone reading at 15 to 60 minutes. That test is approved in Japan and is still used by Japanese endocrinologists on adults and teenagers. In New York, Blandine Laferrère showed in 2005 that GHRP-2 raises food intake much as ghrelin does.
