Ipamorelin
What it is
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide, Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, that fits the ghrelin receptor. It was designed from the older GHRP-1 and GHRP-2 shapes but trimmed so it hits growth hormone release and little else. At doses that release as much growth hormone as GHRP-6, it does not raise ACTH or cortisol. It lasts about two hours in the body and gives one sharp pulse per dose.
