This molecule has a ceiling and climbing past it makes things worse, not better. Into a vein, the LH response peaked at about 1 microgram per kilogram and a three times larger dose gave a smaller answer. Amounts are expressed per kilogram and per hour because the response tracks the rate of exposure rather than a total. The direction that actually gains ground is not upward but spacing: a longer clear gap restores the response that a higher amount cannot.
