Kisspeptin-10 · How it works
Timing is the whole drug
Push this receptor continuously and it stops answering, which is a property of the system rather than a fault. Five days of unbroken exposure under the skin left gonadotropins no higher than vehicle, while the same molecule given in a daily eight hours on, sixteen hours off pattern held LH raised across twelve full days, and a bolus at the end still worked, proving the receptor was alive the whole time. That single comparison is the most practical fact about this peptide: the gap is as active an ingredient as the dose. It also explains why continuous drugs that hit this system are used to shut reproduction down, not turn it up.
