Mixing and storage

The powder goes into solution readily and is mixed with bacteriostatic water for a vial that will be entered more than once, kept at 2 to 8 degrees in the fridge once mixed and used within about 28 days, with unmixed powder cool, dark and dry. The handling point that matters more is how briefly it survives in the body: around four minutes in the blood after a vein dose for the ten residue form, against roughly half an hour for the 54 residue one under the skin. That short life is why the human work uses pumps and timed infusions rather than a single daily shot, and why the clinic setting is part of the molecule rather than a formality.
