Mazdutide · How it works
The glucagon signal
Through glucagon receptors on liver cells, mazdutide turns on fat oxidation, lowers new fat production and pulls fat out of the liver. Chinese laboratory work shows it also eases stress in the liver cell's protein factory, the endoplasmic reticulum, and calms liver inflammation. Across the body, glucagon raises the energy burned at rest.
