Cycles and breaks

Pigment work has a natural shape: a build of a few weeks to bring colour in, then a long gap, because colour fades over one to two months and does not need constant dosing to hold. Breaks matter here more than with most molecules, because they are the window in which moles can be re-photographed and compared against the baseline. Nothing is lost by stopping, the receptors do not become tired, and starting again works as before. Dermatologists who have catalogued unregulated use found continuous dosing with no review to be the pattern behind most of the trouble reported.
