NAD+ · What it helps
Metabolism and blood sugar
SIRT1 in the liver and muscle improves insulin action and fat burning. In animal models, raising NAD+ reversed much of the insulin resistance of a high-fat diet and of age. It does this by restoring the energy sensors, not by forcing glucose down. It pairs well with exercise, which raises NAD+ on its own.
