How it is taken
The schedule
| Route | Injection under the skin |
|---|---|
| Amount to start | 25 mg |
| How often | Once a day, 5 days on and 2 days off |
| When | Morning |
| Steps up and down |
|
| How long | 8 weeks |
| Cycle | 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off; upkeep at 100 mg two or three times a week |
| Mixing | For a 100 mg vial add 1 mL bacteriostatic water (100 mg per mL). For a 1000 mg vial add 10 mL. Run the water down the side and swirl, never shake. |
| Storage | Before mixing: cool and dark. After mixing: fridge, use within 28 days. |
NAD+ is injected under the skin, once a day in the morning, 5 days on and 2 days off. Start at 25 mg for the first week, move to 50 mg in week 2 and settle at 100 mg from week 3. Run it for 8 weeks.
Dose calculator
Change any box to work out a different amount.
How it works: strength per mL = vial strength ÷ water added. mL to draw = dose ÷ strength per mL. Units on a U-100 insulin syringe = mL × 100 (1 mL = 100 units). Doses per vial = vial strength ÷ dose. 1 mg = 1000 mcg.
