Oxytocin Acetate
In people
When oxytocin rises in a person, the first change is a softer, calmer feeling in the body: shoulders drop, breathing slows and the urge to connect grows. Cortisol and blood pressure fall. People describe more patience, more warmth with partners and children, and less reactive stress. Intimacy feels closer and orgasm stronger. With repeated use, sleep improves and comfort eating eases. The same changes happen naturally with long hugs, massage and skin-to-skin contact, which is why touch and oxytocin work together.
