Pinealon
The story
Pinealon was designed at Vladimir Khavinson's Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology in St Petersburg. Khavinson's group spent decades isolating peptide extracts from animal glands, Epithalamin from the pineal and Cortexin from the brain cortex, then building short synthetic peptides from their amino acid makeup. Pinealon is the brain-cortex tripeptide of that work. Russian labs showed it shields neurons from oxidative stress, steadies old animals under low oxygen and cold, and improves memory in older people with organic brain changes.
