PNC-27
What it is
PNC-27 is a chimeric 32 residue peptide: a p53 fragment that binds HDM-2 fused to penetratin, a sequence that carries peptides across membranes. It belongs to a small family built in the same laboratory, alongside PNC-28, which uses p53 residues 17 to 26, and PNC-29, the inactive control they test everything against. It is laboratory and animal work, carried out in cell cultures, in mice and on cells taken directly from patients. It is a cancer biology construct, and it has nothing to do with tissue repair, recovery or wellness.
