PT-141, Bremelanotide
In people
When women with low desire use PT-141 before intimacy, desire and arousal rise, satisfying sexual events increase, and distress about desire falls. Men get erections within about an hour, including men in whom Viagra did little. The most common effect is nausea, felt by about four in ten people the first time and fading with later doses. Flushing, headache and a short rise in blood pressure for a few hours are also common. With frequent use, freckles or gums may darken a little.
