Retatrutide
In people
People on retatrutide feel appetite fall away within the first week, and many describe food as simply less interesting. Over about a year, body weight falls by around 17 percent at 4 mg, 23 to 24 percent at 8 to 9 mg, and 24 to 25 percent at 12 mg, with the waist, blood pressure and triglycerides falling alongside. Liver fat clears in most people who had fatty liver. Fasting sugar and HbA1c fall. Early effects are nausea, fullness, burping and loose stools or constipation, mostly in the weeks after each step up. Some feel a mild rise in resting heart rate and a tingling or sensitive skin feeling, which settle at a steady dose.
