Selank
What it is
Selank is a seven amino acid calming peptide: Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro. Its first four links are tuftsin, a peptide the body cuts from antibody proteins to wake up immune cells. The Pro-Gly-Pro tail protects it and lets it act in the brain. It works on the GABA calming system and the body's own enkephalins, and it also tunes immune signalling. It quiets worry while the mind stays clear.
