Semax · How it works
Repair genes after low oxygen
When blood flow to the brain drops and returns, nerve cells face inflammation and oxidative damage. Semax turns up genes for neurotrophins and their receptors in that tissue. Whole-genome reads show it pulls inflammatory gene sets back down and lifts the genes that build blood vessels and nerve-to-nerve signalling. The Pro-Gly-Pro tail alone carries part of this effect.
