Mixing and storage

For a 5 mg vial, add 2 mL bacteriostatic water slowly down the side and swirl, never shake. That gives 2.5 mg per mL, so 200 mcg is 8 units and 300 mcg is 12 units on an insulin syringe. A 10 mg vial with 2 mL gives 5 mg per mL, so 300 mcg is 6 units. Keep powder cool and dark; once mixed, keep it in the fridge and use within 28 days.
