The schedule

Inject 1 mg under the skin each morning in weeks 1 and 2, 2.5 mg in weeks 3 and 4 and 5 mg from week 5 to week 8. Take it at the same time each day. Practitioners mostly use 1 to 5 mg a day. The FORZINITY dose for Barth syndrome is far higher, 40 mg a day.
