| Mixing | Add 2 mL slowly down the inside wall of the powder vial. Swirl, never shake, until the liquid is glass clear. |
| Storage | Before use: room temperature, cool, dark and dry. After piercing: the vial has no preservative, so it is used once and the rest let go. |
It is not taken. It is drawn into the syringe, pushed slowly into the powder vial, and the powder goes with it. A common mix is 2 mL into a single peptide vial, which gives a strength that is easy to read on a U-100 insulin syringe. Use the volume the powder calls for, mix it, then draw your dose from that vial.
