Survodutide · How it works
The glucagon signal in the liver
Survodutide switches on the glucagon receptor, which is dense on liver cells. Glucagon turns on fat oxidation inside the liver, drives ketone production and pulls stored triglyceride out of the liver cell. It also lowers the liver's output of new fat. This is why survodutide is one of the strongest peptides for a fatty, inflamed liver.
