TB-500, Thymosin Beta-4 · How it works
Holding actin ready
Actin is the protein scaffold inside every cell, and it lets a cell change shape and move. Thymosin beta-4 holds single actin units in reserve so the cell can build its scaffold quickly when it needs to move. It is the main actin-holding protein in the body's cells. TB-500 copies the actin-binding piece, LKKTETQ, that does this work.
