TB-500, Thymosin Beta-4 · How it works
New vessels and heart repair
Thymosin beta-4 pulls vessel cells into damaged tissue and helps them form new channels. In the injured heart it wakes up resting progenitor cells in the outer heart layer and helps them build new vessels. It also helps heart muscle cells survive after a loss of blood flow. That is why it is studied in heart, brain and limb injury.
