Tirzepatide · What it helps
Blood sugar and insulin
Tirzepatide makes the pancreas release insulin in proportion to the glucose in the blood, and it lowers glucagon after meals. Fasting sugar and the after-meal spike both fall, and HbA1c drops further than with semaglutide at full strength. Insulin sensitivity in muscle and liver improves, which is the root of type 2 diabetes and prediabetes.
