Vilon · How it works
SIRT1 up, PARP down
SIRT1 guards DNA, energy and longevity, and falls with age. Vilon raises SIRT1 gene activity 6 times and its protein 8.2 times in young stem cells. In ageing stem cells it lowers PARP1 and PARP2, enzymes that burn NAD+ when DNA is damaged. Modelling shows it binds specific DNA sequences in the nucleosome.
